I.MAM VIRTUAL – dIgital sMArt Mother VIRTUAL

I.MAM VIRTUAL aims to support the employment inclusion of young and future mothers aged 26 to 30 by enhancing their digital skills. The project addresses the gender digital divide in the target regions: Rome (Italy), Mardin (Turkey), Razlog (Bulgaria), Sfax (Tunisia), Cairo (Egypt), and Amman (Jordan). The project will provide training in digital skills such as using Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google tools, as well as developing knowledge in digital professions like social media management, copywriting, blogging, email marketing, and storytelling. It also aims to promote intercultural dialogue, critical thinking, and media literacy while combating gender discrimination. The project will involve 600 participants, with 180 of them participating in six international virtual meetings (Meeting Caffè Virtuali) to foster cross-cultural understanding and enhance knowledge exchange

Objectives
Develop transversal and digital skills, including Office and Google tools, organization, and problem-solving.
Increase knowledge of digital professions (e.g., social media manager, copywriter, blogger, email marketer, storyteller).
Promote intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding among participating nations.
Enhance media literacy, especially in the use of the internet and social media.
Foster critical thinking among participants.
Combat gender discrimination.
Disseminate European values and explore the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program.
Develop new European projects to ensure continuity of I.MAM VIRTUAL
Expected Outcome
70% of participants are expected to increase their digital skills. This impact will be measured through tests conducted before, during, and after the training sessions. The tests will not serve as evaluation tools but will help measure the development of competencies and knowledge.
Increased knowledge of digital professions beneficial for employment. This will be assessed through three surveys conducted with participants at different stages:
Before the course (during selection) – participants will be asked about their awareness of digital professions.
After the online course – participants will be asked about their clarity on the professions covered and whether they would consider them for future employment.
Follow-up after the international virtual meetings – participants will work in subgroups to develop ideas for an international blog focused on women's rights, and their roles within the team will be self-identified and evaluated at the end of the meetings.
Increased intercultural knowledge and understanding of differences among target groups, measured through evaluation activities at the end of each virtual meeting.
Long-term impact – After the training program, partner organizations will offer job orientation activities and provide participants with a list of public and private entities where they can send their CVs.
Improved personal and professional lives – By the end of the project, participants are expected to feel more confident, competent, and prepared to enter the digital workforce. Mothers are expected to be more inclined to work remotely while staying close to their children and feeling satisfied with their professional achievements
