CUBE

Igniting Creative Minds through CCIs Entrepreneurship

Co-funded by the European Commission under the ERASMUS+ program (Capacity Building in the Youth sector). The project aims to enhance the creative and entrepreneurial capacities of young people by fostering innovation and strengthening the role of Creative and Cultural Industries (CCIs) as a driver for youth empowerment and economic growth.

CUBE brings together a strong consortium of partners from across Europe and beyond, including leading organizations in the fields of creative industries, youth work, and non-formal education. The project is designed to create new opportunities for young people, enabling them to explore their creative potential and develop entrepreneurial skills that contribute to the growth of CCIs in their local communities.

Objectives

  • Empower Youth: Equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in CCIs, emphasizing the creative potential and career possibilities in these sectors.

  • Promote Transnational Collaboration: Foster knowledge-sharing and best practices between European and South Mediterranean countries, focusing on employability and entrepreneurship in CCIs.

  • Inclusive Opportunities: Prioritize access for young people with fewer opportunities, overcoming barriers to quality education and training.

  • Promote Democratic Values and Social Well-being: Develop a skilled workforce that contributes positively to society while upholding democracy, diversity, and the rule of law.

  • Build Digital and Entrepreneurial Skills: Enhance digital and entrepreneurial skills by offering training programs that equip individuals with the knowledge and abilities needed to succeed in the modern digital economy.

Project Activities

  • Creative Collaborations Summit in Morocco
A pilot workshop aimed at training youth workers with innovative tools for the CCI sector. This summit focuses on essential skills in organizational management, business planning, marketing, and digital literacy, helping participants gain hands-on experience in creative collaboration and entrepreneurship.

  • Capacity Building Workshop in Jordan
A specialized workshop, “Enhancing Non-Formal Learning for Youth Workers in CCIs,” dedicated to equipping youth workers with the competencies needed for effective non-formal education. The workshop emphasizes CCIs-specific strategies, making it relevant for fostering youth engagement in creative industries.

  • Job Shadowing Experience in Greece
This immersive learning activity provides participants with direct experience in established CCI organizations, allowing them to observe best practices, gain insights into daily operations, and build professional networks within the industry.

  • Local Workshops on Youth Entrepreneurship in CCIs
Each partner country will organize workshops focusing on CCI entrepreneurship. These sessions include practical training on business skills, project management, and digital literacy, with a minimum of 40-50 youth workers per workshop. These workshops also create a supportive community where young people can explore creative career pathways.

  • Transnational Partner Meetings
A series of three key meetings will take place, including the kick-off meeting in Greece, an interim meeting in Liechtenstein, and a final evaluation meeting in Greece. These meetings ensure ongoing project alignment, enable partners to share insights, and finalize project assessments.

  • Multiplier Events
Organized in each partner country, these events disseminate project results and outcomes to local stakeholders, train youth workers, and build awareness of project resources. They aim to reach at least 250 attendees per event, strengthening local networks and promoting youth employability in CCIs.

  • Online Group Reflections
Three online reflection sessions will gather feedback from youth workers who completed CUBE’s training activities. These sessions will help refine the tools and methods developed, ensuring they meet the real needs of youth in CCIs.
