Learn2Volunteer

The Learn 2 Volunteer project aims to strengthen the capacity of youth organizations and increase youth participation in volunteer activities. The project is part of the Erasmus+ Key Action 2: Capacity Building in the field of youth (SMED). It focuses on promoting volunteerism as a tool for social inclusion, developing young people's skills, and enhancing cooperation among youth organizations across Europe and the South Mediterranean region.

The project involves multiple transnational activities, including:

• Kick-off meeting

• Training courses

• Youth exchanges

• Development of an online platform for volunteer engagement

• Dissemination activities

Objectives

• Enhance youth participation in volunteer activities by creating accessible and engaging platforms.

• Promote social inclusion through volunteerism.

• Strengthen the capacity of youth organizations to develop and implement volunteer programs.

• Develop an online platform to facilitate volunteering opportunities and training for young people.

• Foster cross-border cooperation among youth organizations in Europe and the South Mediterranean.

• Empower young people with skills in volunteer management and social entrepreneurship

Expected Results

• Increased youth engagement in volunteer activities across partner countries.

• Improved capacity of youth organizations to support and manage volunteers.

• Development of an online platform with training materials and volunteer opportunities.

• Strengthened cooperation between youth organizations in Europe and the South Mediterranean.

• Enhanced skills of young people in leadership, communication, and project management through volunteering.
