SEEDing Successful Young Female Entrepreneurs for a Green World by Regenerative Agriculture

SEEDS aims to increase and enhance the capacities of entities located in MENA countries for vocational education and training, focusing on improving the quality of work with youth in green agriculture. The project follows the principles of regenerative agriculture and seeks to increase mobility for youth workers into the project partner countries. It aims to enhance youth work to improve access to the labour market and promote better self-identification in society. SEEDS focuses on supporting young women’s participation in the economy through training, skills development, and entrepreneurial guidance. The project will also build a framework for future actions through innovative solutions and regenerative agriculture practices​

Objectives

  • Empower young people, especially female youth – Increase their competencies and foster their active participation in society.

  • Create an Open Educational Platform – Develop interactive multilingual training modules and professionalized organic agriculture methods.

  • Enhance regenerative agriculture skills – Introduce organic farming, fair trade principles, and healthy food production methods.

  • Foster entrepreneurship – Support young women in starting and improving green businesses and regenerative farms.

  • Develop experimental regenerative agriculture incubators – Establish pilot initiatives to apply the acquired skills and provide healthy food to communities.

  • Promote cross-cultural knowledge exchange – Facilitate the transfer of agricultural expertise between MENA and Europe.

Expected Results

  • Increased skills and competencies – Enhanced digital, agricultural, and entrepreneurial skills for young participants.

  • Improved access to the labour market – Strengthened employment opportunities for young women.

  • Successful pilot initiatives – Establishment of regenerative farms and businesses as models for future replication.

  • Greater gender equality – Increased female participation in economic activities.

  • Sustainable knowledge exchange – A framework for continuous cooperation and knowledge transfer between MENA and Europe​
